Very dirty. The cups are old, dirty and with tattered stickers. It's a living room, yes, but not a cafe. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. Absolutely not a recommendation.
Incredibly cute, love the ambience and the food. Great breakfast options!
Excellent lunch also to take away - the wraps were delicious, freshly topped and very well packaged (paper & no plastic !!!) highly recommended! We'll be back🙌
Nice little cafe. Unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed and brought us the wrong drinks twice.
Sorry but the toilets are not clean ... actually it runs through the whole cafe ... if you look closely ... something like that doesn't work ... even glasses and plates ...
Unfortunately the opening times are not correct, the café only opens at 9 a.m.
Perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon with a book and a large coffee. The cappuccino i had was perfect. The ambience at this Café is the definition of cozy. The decor is colourful and whimsical. The staff is extremely welcoming and cheerful without being pushy. The best part - there are two adorable dogs here!! Can’t get better, right? :)
A nice cafe with small dishes near the Ostbahnhof. Very homely and cozy inside. I sat outside when the weather was fine. Pleasantly quiet, with little to no traffic.
Small, chaotic café with its own charm. The food is simple but tasty and the service is quick and in a good mood. You can chill out outside or take a little treat with you. Folks, i'm hungry! Food: sweet Ambience: charming Service: friendly Prices: high
Super delicious breakfast, great cake and very nice service and service! Very very recommendable! We would love to come back :)
We had the breakfast buffet and also a cappuchino and a mint tea. There is even vegetable milk instead of cow's milk as an alternative! 😊 Super nice service and there was an incredible amount of effort with the serving and the selection at the cake stand was huge, from slice cheese and Gorgonzola to boiled eggs and ham everything was there! Unfortunately we didn't do everything, I think it's one of the best breakfast cafés in Munich. Price-performance ratio was also great and everything went smoothly!
Very good 😊 small, fine, cozy restaurant. Modern and young. Delicious meal. Keep it up 👍
The breakfast was overall decent in the portion size and good in the quality. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the new premises is no longer so cozy. Staff unfortunately seemed a bit annoyed when ordering tea.
Cozy but quite busy.
Saftladen! Waited 1.5 hours for breakfast. Cold fried eggs. Not complete plate support. In the end, wrongly billed. Not recommended.
I was there for the first time last week with a friend and was very impressed by the cozy atmosphere. However, we found at our next table in a corner of the shop dog feces. It was first said that it will be taken out the other way, but it did not happen. Also in the women's room I found dog feces, which was really not to be overlooked - that's really not! Especially against the background that the dog did not belong to a guest, but to the staff. The breakfast was okay, but now nothing very special. The service was overwhelmed, but I could understand, since the poor man was alone in the shop! He tried hard. On the whole, I was really disappointed and will not visit the store anymore.
Delicious breakfast, especially the cheese selection is sensational. Not the typical sliced cheese you usually know at breakfast bars. However, as they unfortunately have no normal kitchen, the food takes a long time!
Little Cafe with fresh food and great service in a great location near Ostbahnhof
The breakfast itself was delicious and rich. However, the nice atmosphere was down by the service. This was completely overwhelmed with the number of guests and the cashier. She was unable to read the correct prices from the card and calculate with a calculator. Unfortunately, we had to wait unusually long for our breakfast. The handling of the guests was anything but friendly. It's a pity because it's a really nice place. The boss herself is very friendly and tried hard.
1 star for the Restaurant 2 stars for the dog
Moved - right next to - the old local was quaint the new is stylish - staff very nice and nice ambiance
That was the worst services I had since I'm in Munich. It took them 10 minutes before we realize that we are there .
You just want to spend a day in Grandma's room? Then you are right here, beautiful retro atmosphere meets here in a small but fine cafe on self-baked cake. We came across a friendly and good service and felt very comfortable in the cozy room. Too bad I found that there is no extensive breakfast. But I would also like to point out that there is a partnership with the Schneeweinchen which is right next door. Overall, a very nice place and worth a visit!
Excellent service! Very warm and efficient staff.
Has charm, but unfortunately no fresh milk - only UHT milk.
Great breakfast!
this small coffee shop is exactly the representational of finding a pleasant surprise when you are lost❤️ the place is one of a kind experience that you shouldn’t miss when you are in Munich
slow service. muesli was old. smells. coffee is good. deco is cute
Super sweet atmosphere, decorated with a real love to detail and very friendly staff. Prices are a little high, but hey it's Munich after all. Coffee tasted slightly watered down, which is a pity in a great café like this one, therefore just 4/5 Stars
Great place that lives up to its name. Not cinnamon tick, but the living room in the name. You feel like you are in Grandma's living room. And there are all sorts of delicious things too. But be careful - in peak times you should make a reservation.
Good food and friendly staff... place was a bit too small to sit and eat comfortably! Other than that, every thing was great 👍
Very cozy place with small table to sit, two girls here were very welcoming and happy, apparently wayyyy happier than most of other servers we met in Hofbräuhaus am Platzl. And that’s why I gave 5 stars regardless the sunny-side-eggs were over cooked
Cosy atmosphere, affordable prices, tasty ingredients - great place for breakfast!
A beautiful little cafe with a cozy and welcoming environment. The food has that home made quality to it and was good. This place can be quite popular so there may be a wait to get seating inside, but you can take it to go. The wait is worth it.
Delicious breakfast in a nostalgic atmosphere. Very nice and small cafe, the equipment really quaint and reminds me of Grandma's living room. We had 2 large cappuccinos and 2x breakfast with enough toast, baguette, sausage, cheese, jam and fried egg. Also very friendly service ... We would love to come back :) many
Very delicious food, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. Das.personal is very friendly, the atmosphere like in Grandma's living room.
Nice neighborhoodish café, small and cosy, friendly staff, good breakfast choices.
It's cozy place to enjoy good coffee. The staff is hospitable and understanding. But there are just 5 tables here. My favorite one is the table with an armchair in the second room. They also offer cakes to the coffee. The design is quite cute. Love those flamingos in the wall!))
The best breakfast I have ever had! The staff were very friendly. The owner was very generous, she gave us complimentary selection of biscuits (like 10 of them). When we asked for more bread, the waitress brought us a whole basket of freshly baked bread (free of charge!! even though on the menu it was said to have extra charges). We came 2 days in a row (our last 2 days in munich) just to have these heavenly breakfasts! First day we had the 'ZiegenPeter ' some scrambled eggs with a selection of charcuterie (ham, salami, pate...), it came with a basket of bread & toast plus jam & butter. The wildberry jam was out of this world! The 2nd day we had the 'Süßes Zicklein' a pancakes plate with eggs. Amazing dish!! One more heavenly thing is the tea! you absolutely must try the homemade tea! In summary, this cafe is a must! I would go to munich just to have this kind of breakfast again!
Nice cozy little room, marvelous breakfast and an intimate atmosphere... Would definitely go again.
Small caffe with good hangout.
Nice place to relax, have breakfast, coffee, conversations in a very homely and cosy room. Nice serving people too. Must if you stay in Haidhausen. Als the locale say in Munich. Stay in the neighbourhood and enjoy. The center is just for tourists.
A superb breakfast place for a small company!
Zimtzicke has blossomed into a great neighborhood cafe with excellent breakfast and lunch choices ranging from traditional to exotic, cooked by Nora, the owner, and Franzi, the chefesse, who also has some very adventurous and delicious vegan dishes and cakes (avocado-cashew cake!) The open kitchen allows one to converse with Nora and Franzi during gaps in the steady stream of locals and visitors. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, underscored by mostly softer music which allows conversation at a pleasant sound level. The decor is whimsical. One wishes Zimtzicke was just a bit bigger, to allow a few more seating groups in the front room, but the “living room“ in the back is very comfortable if you are lucky enough to find an armchair or bit of couch there! There are also a few tables and chairs outside. Being a spelt fan (Dinkel), I would give 5 stars if there were more spelt choices in bread and cake etc.....but that's just me.....
